Karen manages finance and accounting for Procurated. She ensures the financial integrity of the company through the accounting and compliance arm, while helping to drive value and innovation by playing a key role in the company’s strategic financial planning through budgeting, projection and analytics, and deriving insights through the use of key performance indicators and metrics.
Karen also served as Vice President of Finance and Controller for Government Sourcing Solutions for 5 years, a public procurement consulting firm founded by Procurated CEO David Yarkin. Prior to joining GSS and Procurated, Karen spent nine years working in public accounting providing audit, tax, and consulting services to a variety of entities in the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan area, serving as a strategic advisor to her clients. Originally from New England, she currently lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband Steve and their dog, King.
