Procurated is passionate about leveraging data to drive impactful business decisions. We work across data analysis, data engineering, and AI, including cutting-edge technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs), and are looking for a motivated Data Intern eager to grow their skills and contribute to real projects. 

Role Overview 

As a Data Intern, you will get hands-on experience working with data pipelines, exploratory data analysis, and AI/ML workflows, including exposure to LLMs. You will collaborate closely with our data team, supporting various tasks that help transform raw data into actionable insights. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Write Python scripts for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis 
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases 
  • Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows 
  • Explore datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights 
  • Support the team in documenting data workflows and reporting results 
  • Learn and experiment with AI/ML models and tools, including Large Language Models, under guidance 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Basic proficiency in Python programming 
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational databases 
  • Strong curiosity and interest in data analysis, data engineering, AI/ML, and Large Language Models 
  • Ability to work independently and ask questions when unsure 
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn 
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory) 

Nice to Have 

  • Familiarity with libraries like pandas, numpy, matplotlib 
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS 
  • Understanding of basic statistics and data visualization 
  • Prior experience or interest in machine learning frameworks, AI tools, or working with LLMs
